More than 50 years of experience
Building condominium, rental and commercial projects, Ninco has earned a reputation as one of the leading development groups in Hamilton, Ontario and the surrounding area. Family owned and operated since inception, our second and third generation owners are directly involved in each step of our projects from the start of construction through to completion.
Founded on the principal of providing superior building construction in a fair and equitable work environment, Ninco has proudly grown into a forward-thinking company that prioritizes community inclusion, sustainable building design, and authentic communication with our clients and residents.
1970’s
A brick layer since the young age of eight, founder Arduino (also known as “Nino”) leaves Italy to find work in Canada. After years of working tirelessly for various construction companies, Nino persuades a close friend to join him in starting a forming company - Torino Construction is born.
1980’s
Torino Construction quickly takes on several forming contracts with renowned Hamilton-based developers. After nearly a decade of successful projects, Nino shifts his focus to becoming a full-scale development company- Ninco Construction is born.
1990’s
The evolution from forming contractor to developer conveniently coincided with son Frank ready to take a more prominent, leadership role in the company. During this time, several renowned condominium buildings were constructed including downtown Hamilton’s The Bentley and Grafton Square in the Dundas core.
2000’s
As Ninco Construction evolves, Frank takes the lead on further land acquisition, planning and approvals. Beautiful condominium projects continue during this time including 445 Elizabeth Street in Burlington.
Today
Though founder Nino passes away in 2021, his legacy continues with the addition of a third generation. With over a decade of experience in commercial financing, grandson Daniel joins the team and brings with him a new focus on rental housing. Today, Daniel and Frank work side-by-side, one project at a time, to create inspiring buildings that make a lasting impression in their community.
